Eastern Machine & Design Corporation has been established since 1963.
We have been a family owned business for four generations in the medical, aerospace, and semiconductor industry.
Our company is a job shop that manufactures parts using the latest in CNC technology.
The goal of our business is to produce high quality parts for each of our customers using our state of the art production machining practices.
A job done by Eastern Machine & Design is a job done correctly, efficiently, and of the highest quality in the industry.
Schedule:
The hours for this position are flexible, full time or part time, between the hours of 6:
AM and 5:
PM.
We would also be happy to offer part-time mothers hours.
We have a 4-day work schedule (Monday through Thursday) with Fridays off!
Responsibilities:
Monitor and prepare customer orders and shipments.
Store, organize, and identify inventory.
Light assembly of medical components.
Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Capability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to read mechanical drawings (a plus but not necessary) Strong written and verbal communication skills.
UPS WorldShip software experience (preferred but not necessary - will train).
Microsoft Office 365 experience (preferred but not necessary - will train).
ERP system experience (preferred but not necessary - will train).
Education:
high school or equivalent.
Salary based on experience.
